Interview Summary: In the interview we covered the challenges of being a Latino in America. Martin talks about his experiences throughout different schools and the barrier he faced being a Latino in a predominantly white school. While living in Milwaukee, he mentions things that he noticed growing up like segregation, culture shock, and the obstacles he faced with not being accepted as an artist. There were other expectations set for him.  Martin is currently working as an admissions counselor at MIAD (Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design).  He is one of two bi-lingual admissions counselors.
