Interview Summary: My interviews focus on the issue of disabilities and accommodations in American education, more specifically in Milwaukee. My interviewees were Sara Yelich-Koth, a former UWM student with physical and mental disabilities, and Nichole Uecker, the Student Accessibility Coordinator at MIAD. Sara’s interview focuses on the previous failures of the education system, while Nichole’s interview focuses on the current efforts and improvement in the education system.
